The Mother Folkers are a diverse group, each member bringing their own unique forms of expression drawn from folk, blues, celtic, rock. This sisterhood of talent combine to create more than just music; The Mother Folkers is a tradition, a celebration, a collaboration in spirit and sound. In this spirit the group has lasted through the years. As Eileen Niehouse put it, "There was always the support in the group for all of us to be as wonderful as we could be and knowing that whatever was going to happen to us in life, we could talk to one another about it." This is American art in the truest and most beautiful sense.

Through 25 consecutive years of live performance, The Mother Folkers remain a Denver musical treasure. We are honored to have the opportunity to document this truly inspired musical event and bring it to a larger musical audience.
