Recording Commitment:
Artist shall record one (1) album at BabyJane Records' studio.

Ownership:
BabyJane Records owns master recording, and Artist agrees not to re-record songs on any other projects.

Advance:
BabyJane Records will advance studio time, recording equipment and engineering personnel. Advance will be recouped from net CD proceeds.

Royalty:
Artist shall receive a royalty of ____ % of net invoice amount collected by Baby Jane Records. Royalty will be paid on all units sold after costs are recouped.

Publishing:
Artist retains all publishing rights to original compositions.

Buy-Back Provision:
Artist has the right to buy back the master tape and unsold inventory in the event that Baby Jane Records chooses not to distribute the CD.

Sales to Artist:
Artist has the right to buy copies of the CD at discounted prices at least as good as best wholesale price.

Grant of Rights:
Label grants Baby Jane Records the non-exclusive, world-wide right to distribute title with sales advertised via Internet.

Web Site Payment:
Label pays Baby Jane Records a web site set-up fee of $_____ and a yearly web site maintenance fee of $______.

Royalty:
Baby Jane Records pays Label ____ % of net invoice amount received on units sold less returns.
