Michael Stanwood | Arc of a Buzz
Arc of a Buzz constitutes a very alive and unusual sound, blending world music instrumentation with recording studio compositional techniques. The music is deep, breathing with energy and emotion. Many seminal pieces from the acclaimed Buzz Band appear on Arc. Ten Cent Camel Ride is somewhat of a definitive Buzz tune (if it could ever be said that one tune was definitive). Forest of Sorrows is haunting in its ability to skim the surface and sound the depths simultaneously. Phoebe; sparse and honest.

We've been working and dreaming on this album for several years. It's a wonderful and unique piece of art, and we celebrate its birth into the world.
