Defying easy categorization, Buzz music evokes comparison to world music and new age while remaining atypical of either genre. It comes from Stanwood's notion that there is a common vibration, or buzz, underlying all musics and indeed all life. Buzz music is deep, breathing with energy and emotion - a very alive and unusual sound, blending world music instrumentation with recording studio compositional techniques. It contains both visceral and spiritual energy in one resonating embrace.
