I am the senior statesman, the originator, chief shoulder rubber, check signer, bearer of wisdom and anchor of this ship. Rock 'n' Roll (along with holding onto my hair) keeps me young.

I brought probably the first Moog synthesizer to the Colorado music scene in 1972 and used it as my ticket into the recording market here. My engineering history traverses the epic studios in Colorado; Caribou Ranch, Applewood, Denver Sound, Communicreations, Colorado Sound, etc. But Rocky Mountain Recorders.... this is my dream studio, with my dream team. I gathered the best of the best that I had worked with over the past 12 years in the Denver market. They are skilled and dedicated. They enjoy this place and it shows.

As for me? Late at night I like to sit in the quiet of the control room and stare at the status lights from which my energy (and my tan) are derived. Don't enter this trade if you want a personal life. The devotion required is too great, the passion for the studio too deep. It lives, breathes and calls to you, draws you in, hours pass swiftly... slowly... they pass.

Rupert Neve, Eddie Kramer, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, they brought me here. The toys, the sounds, the people the challenges - I love this stuff man!
